SNAP and food help for older adults in Wyoming

In short: SNAP in Wyoming is run by the Department of Family Services (DFS). If someone in your home is 60 or older or disabled, Wyoming gives a standard medical deduction of $175 a month when your medical costs are over $35, which can raise your benefit. People 60 and older with low income in seven counties can also get a free monthly food box (CSFP). Apply for SNAP with a paper application at a DFS office or by email to [email protected].
