About the founder
Robert Murray started ESB (EverySeniorBenefits.com). He runs it through his company, TilyD Enterprises Ltd., which is based in Vancouver, Canada. The site covers US programs only.
Why I started this site
I saw a problem. The information older Americans need about Social Security, pensions, Medicare and help after 65 is spread across dozens of government websites, each with its own rules and its own words. Finding a clear answer takes too long, and it is easy to miss help you are owed.
I fixed it the way I fix any problem: with organization, efficiency and consolidation. I brought the main programs together in one place, like a kit you can pick up and use: plain-language guides, a short anonymous benefits check, calculators, state guides and phone numbers for free help.
How I run it
- Every figure and rule is checked against the government page it comes from, and each page links to its sources so you can check them yourself.
- The site does not sell insurance, does not take money for referrals, and never charges to help you apply for benefits.
- It is an independent website, not a government website.
